Just before Christmas 2008 the 35 year old roof on our Ranger HQ finally gave up the ghost, leaving us with a rather damp ceiling.Quick action by the Hall Management Committee saw the roof re-felted in a matter of days, and early in 2009 we returned to a rather damp but at least watertight hut. Over the summer of 2008 changes have been made to the Ranger Hut to improve access from the ramped entrance, widening the door and making it easier to get in by wheelchair. Tonight saw the first test of the new lighting on 'Natasha's ramp'.
